Ο Ηρακλής Περυσινάκης είναι Επίκουρος Καθηγητής Γενικής Χειρουργικής-Χειρουργικής Ογκολογίας στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης.
Γεννήθηκε στις 09-10-1983 στο Ηράκλειο της Κρήτης και αποφοίτησε με Άριστα από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (ΕΚΠΑ) το 2007. Ολοκλήρωσε επιτυχώς την ειδικότητα της Γενικής Χειρουργικής στη Γ’ Χειρουργική Κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών «Γ. Γεννηματάς» το 2016. Το 2017, έχοντας λάβει υποτροφία από το Ίδρυμα Κρατικών Υποτροφιών, ολοκλήρωσε τη Διδακτορική του Διατριβή με Άριστα και αναγορεύτηκε Διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής Αθηνών. Το ίδιο έτος συμμετείχε με επιτυχία στις εξετάσεις του European Board of Surgery Qualification και του απονεμήθηκε ο τίτλος του Fellow of European Board of Surgery (FEBS).
Έχει εργαστεί στο Διαγνωστικό και Θεραπευτικό Κέντρο Αθηνών «ΥΓΕΙΑ» ως Επιμελητής της Γ’ Χειρουργικής Κλινικής, στη Χειρουργική Κλινική του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Ρεθύμνου ως Επικουρικός Επιμελητής και στη συνέχεια στο Γενικού Νοσοκομείο Σητείας ως Επιμελητής Β’ ΕΣΥ. Το Νοέμβριο του 2022 διορίστηκε στην Κλινική Χειρουργικής Ογκολογίας του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου Ηρακλείου σε θέση Επιμελητή Β’ ΕΣΥ. Τον Απρίλιο του 2025 μετέβη στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, ως υπότροφος της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Κολοπρωκτολογίας, για να μετεκπαιδευτεί στη Χειρουργική του Κατώτερου Πεπτικού. Εκεί εργάστηκε σε έμμισθη θέση Senior Clinical Fellow στο St Thomas’ Hospital του Λονδίνου για ένα έτος. Το Δεκέμβριο του 2025 εξελέγη Επίκουρος Καθηγητής Γενικής Χειρουργικής – Χειρουργικής Ογκολογίας στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης.
Το επιστημονικό του έργο περιλαμβάνει μέχρι στιγμής 41 δημοσιεύσεις άρθρων σε ελληνικά και ξενόγλωσσα περιοδικά, περισσότερες από 100 ανακοινώσεις σε ελληνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια, ομιλίες σε ελληνικά συνέδρια, συμμετοχή σε ερευνητικά πρωτόκολλα και συγγραφή βιβλίων. Έχει παρακολουθήσει μετεκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια, μεταξύ των οποίων Σεμινάρια Προχωρημένης Λαπαροσκοπικής Χειρουργικής του παχέος εντέρου και του ορθού στο Στρασβούργο (IRCAD) και στο ΔΘΚΑ ΥΓΕΙΑ (CLASS course, Node Institute). Αποτελεί μέλος της Ελληνικής Χειρουργικής Εταιρείας, της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Ενδοσκοπικής Χειρουργικής, του Αμερικανικού Κολλεγίου Χειρουργών (FACS), της European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) και της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Κολοπρωκτολογίας. Επίσης είναι εγγεγραμμένος στο Μητρώο της Ειδικότητας Γενικής Χειρουργικής στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο (Specialist register, General Medical Council).
