Christos Tsagkaris is a physician and Orthopaedic Surgery resident in Switzerland. He has worked at the University Children’s Hospital Zurich and the Balgrist University Hospital. In addition to his medical studies, he holds postgraduate degrees in Public Administration and Health Services Management, as well as in European Policy and Governance.

He serves in advisory roles for institutional bodies such as the European Commission and the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe, as well as for civil society organizations, promoting equitable access to healthcare and youth participation in health policymaking.

His research and professional interests include clinical orthopaedics and biomechanics, public health, global surgery, and the impact of crises and conflicts on health.
