The Medical School of the University of Crete has completed 40 years of operation! Thanks to you, we are particularly proud of the progress of our School over the years and we are working systematically so that the School continues to zealously provide high-level education, cutting-edge research and promote health. In these efforts, we would like you to be constantly with us in any way that suits each person’s obligations and career.

The newly established Alumni Association of the University of Crete is taking its first steps and invites all graduates of the University to become its members. As part of our ongoing effort to maintain and strengthen relationships with the alumni of the Medical School of the University of Crete (UC), we are pleased to announce the launch of the UC Alumni Research Seminar Series for 2026.
This initiative aims to present contemporary knowledge in basic, translational and clinical research, reflecting the scientific work and professional paths of our graduates, while at the same time strengthening the ties between the Medical School and distinguished alumni physicians and scientists working abroad.
The seminar series is open to medical specialists, residents, medical students in their clinical practice, and biomedical scientists.
