Brief Description
The BD FACSCanto™ II Flow Cytometer is suitable for both research and clinical diagnostic applications. It carries CE marking in accordance with the European In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Device Directive 98/79/EC. The instrument measures and analyzes cells and is designed for benchtop operation.Specifications

Optical Excitation
The instrument incorporates a gel-coupled quartz flow cell aligned with the laser optics to maximize excitation efficiency and fluorescence collection. Emitted fluorescence is collected through fiber optics and directed to octagonal and trigon detection assemblies, allowing simultaneous detection of fluorochromes with identical emission wavelengths. Reflective optical filters are employed instead of conventional transmission filters.
