Georgios Kokolakis is an assistant professor of dermatology at the University of Crete School of Medicine and a research fellow at Charité University Hospital in Berlin. His academic and clinical career spans a wide range of modern dermatology, with a particular focus on chronic inflammatory skin diseases, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and modern targeted immunomodulatory therapies. Furthermore, he has specialized experience in dermatologic surgery, laser applications, and dermatologic oncology, combining surgical and interventional dermatology with the most up-to-date therapeutic approaches. He has played an active role in the design and conduct of international clinical trials as a principal investigator and country lead, and his research work includes more than 80 original publications and international textbooks. His work lies at the intersection of clinical innovation, academic research, and modern personalized dermatological care.
