I was born in Athens in 1974 and graduated from the Medical School of the University of Insubria in Varese, Lombardia, Italy (Università di Medicina e Chirurgia d’Insubria, Varese, Lombardia, Italia), in 2002 (Grade: “Very Good”). I specialized in Radiation Oncology at the “Alexandra” Hospital (2006-2009). I completed my doctoral thesis entitled: “Radiobiological study of conventional and accelerated radiotherapy regimen in patients suffering from squamous cancer of the head and neck” at the 2nd Radiology Laboratory of the Attikon University Hospital, Medical School of the University of Athens (Grade: Excellent). I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, University of Thessaly – Director of the Radiotherapy Laboratory at the University General Hospital of Larissa. I work as an Associate Professor at the Medical School of the University of Crete – Director of the Radiation Oncology Laboratory at the University General Hospital of Heraklion, Crete.
2003 – 2005 Primary Care Physician at Lamia General Hospital, Lamia, Greece and at Anthili, Stylida Health Center, Greece.
